So, this is not a Chinese buffet, it's a Japanese buffet!!!! I feel like some of the comments are comparing this place to a Chinese buffet. I give this 4 stars because for a buffet I found everything I tried to be full of flavor. I tried most everything, as I usually do on a buffet - isn't that the point? The restaurant is decorated nicely and the staff was fairly nice. They had a huge selection of sushi, that was better than the average buffet, but of course not as good as a traditional sushi restaurant. They had some really interesting selections of hot food on the buffet that you don't ever see on a buffet. If we lived here in West Palm, we would make this a regular place to go.

I was in the mood for sushi, but didn't want the fuss of a full service restaurant. So I ventured out and found this place. When I first walked in, I was excited they had a lot and I do mean a lot of sushi options for a buffet. They also offer hibachi, and a few hot items such as fried rice, lemon pepper seafood mix, and a bunch of fried food items (gyoza, egg rolls, Rangoon, etc., let me not forget peel and eat shrimp and crab legs. But unfortunately I was disappointed in the sushi offerings. Now I tried a bit of everything and I can honestly say I only really like 2 rolls and the salmon sashimi ( I don't like tuna). I had noodles, veggies, and shrimp from the hibachi grill and it was yummy. But the rest of the food was ok at best. For $18.95 I had high expectations for what I got. Customer service was good. Food is rotated pretty quickly. 40/60 chance that I would return.

I ate here tonight with my wife, mom, daughter, and sister along with her 3 kids. All of the children were under 2, however after telling the waitress the ages of the kids they asked a second time as if we were lying, and even gave us dirty looks. We felt very unwelcome, not to mention that our plates were never cleared from the table, and the food was not as fresh as it was in the past. I am highly dissatisfied, and even tried to call the manager who could care less saying "well it already happened". I won't be back and I'll tell everyone I know.

The food here is decent, but not amazing. It will, however, satisfy a hungry stomach and a sushi craving. Came here with coworkers for lunch last week. Had a nice sampling of their sushi, soup, and Chinese entrees. If you want a nice Asian buffet, I highly recommend you go elsewhere. This is the place to go if you want a large variety of fresh, tasty sushi. They even have sashimi! Will come back if I want to overdose on sushi again, but only during lunch. From what I've heard from coworkers, the have the same food for dinner but up the price to $18.95, compared to the $11.95(?) lunch.

Almost 3 stars but not quite. I guess NYC has ruined me but of all the Sushi Buffets in this area, this is my least favorite. Sushi rice is totally bland. I think that they must buy the fish in the local Publix. 'Nuff said

Iama Critic Rating - Hiroki Japanese Buffet - 4 Stars 2460 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Overall: Some of the best sushi we ever had! But a few items are not so stellar, avoid them! But, ouch, the price is painful! The - $18.95 Buffet - 4 Stars The quality of buffet items range wildly from fantastic to sad, with the sushi being the true highlight. The Hibachi was rather limited. All in all this buffet is a can't miss. The Sushi - 4 Stars Hiroki's selection is extensive and fresh. They serve all sorts of textures, and colors, but one thing is missing and that is spice. So expect your sushi ah natural! And if you like caviar, Hiroki serves it in every color imaginable. Various Buffet Items: 5 stars - baby octopus, best we ever had 5 stars - deep fried shrimp, the thin long straight ones 4 stars - fried spring rolls 4 stars - grilled veggies 2 stars - snow crab legs, were old and salty 2 stars - veggy tempura, simply aweful 4 stars - lemon meringue pie 4 stars - spanish mussels 3 stars - spare ribs

Good was decent, pretty expensive since it doesn't have that much seafood.. Came on a Sunday and its $18.99 but it didn't have raw oysters or raw clams, and cold crawfish. Not really impressed.. I have to better and less expensive.

Buffets are always a trade off of value and quantity vs quality. Even the best quality, perfectly prepared food deteriorates sitting in a steam table or a cold pan. THE PROS Attractive comfortable place with good waitstaff. Lots of sushi choices with very ample fish portions. Note: I am not a sushi snob and it certainly wasn't the best I ever had, but have had LOTS worse for three times the price. Good selection of colorful and tasty rolls along with seaweed salad and many cold dishes with octopus, mussels, shrimp and clams which are very small and they may be cockles. Choice of four soups. Lots of hot choices; mussels in black bean sauce, tempura vegetables, Japanese meatloaf on a stick (huh?), and many chicken based hot dishes. Hot items are good; dumplings, cream cheese filled fried wontons, fried shrimp and veggie tempura. These things all die quickly, but are replenished often. A hibachi grill area with four proteins and choice of vegetables. Along with limited desserts cookies, cream puffs, and ice cream with toppings. THE CONS The main attraction of Sushi I find to be tasty enough although the vinegared rice could be more flavorful. So many other items also lack flavor, particularly the soups and cold marinated salads along with hot versions; octopus, mussels and clams. The seaweed salad always looks good and has a nice crunch to it, but it's cloyingly sweet. The Hibachi prepared food I got was good, but the chef could use a bit of a personality implant. Just might be after three hours over a hot grill the pleasant personality evaporates, but the encounter didn't really make me dip in my wallet to fill his tip jar. And lastly; the use of a communal ice cream dipping cabinet just turns me off. I defy anyone to reach into a half empty 3 gallon container of ice cream and and not include their fingers, knuckles and arms in process. That along with the well meaning parents that hold their eight year old in the air to dip it for themselves. They do have a selection of ice cream toppings, but I have to take a pass on some arm hair or worse in my Rocky Road. A soft ice cream maker/dispenser would resolve this problem. Once in awhile AYCE is fun and the food here really is quite good if you're craving sushi and especially taking into account the lunch price of $11.99. All the "CONS" aside I'll do without the ice cream and will be back a few times per year.

When it comes to Asian buffets, usually it is a hit or miss when it comes to the sushi section. And 9 times out of 10, it is a miss. But this place actually had pretty good sushi! I do apologize because I can't really comment on the rest of the food they had because since I was so happy that their sushi was actually really good, I went up for 2nds... and 3rds, at which point I was too full for kitchen food. So just reviewing the sushi section, I give it a thumbs up and a happy food baby. Good job! You have an a super full super satisfied customer!

Visited on a Saturday so they had some seafood out in addition to more traditional Chinese buffet selections. The buffet was OK but somewhat limited in what you would normally find. The sushi bar is pretty extensive and the hibachi was excellent. Next time I will start there and skip the buffet. Staff was good. They made my kids some chopstick helpers with rubber bands which entertained them throughout dinner. Was a bit pricey in my personal opinion but fair for everything they had. Comparable to other Jupiter /Palm Beach Gardens places in the area.

For a sushi buffet, I say not too shabby. The lunch prices are cheap enough to engorge yourself with seafood on a daily basis ($11.99 on a weekend and $8.99 on a weekday). I was impressed by the large variety of sushi. It's not the best quality, but not bad either. The sashimi is limited to salmon, but I also enjoyed the chirashi seafood salad. They even had what was labeled as white tuna, but who knows what it really was. Sushi-wise, I would stay clear of any of the fried rolls. The hibachi grill serves some pretty good New York steak with chicken and squid being the other options this weekend. It's one of those things where you can order it without worrying how long the food has been sitting out. Out of all the Chinese food items sitting out, the pepper chicken with celery was really good. I was so full, I missed out on most of the other seafood items near the salad area, but they had mussels, crayfish, and shrimp. The best part of dessert is the self-scoop ice cream. Forget the chocolate fountain and the mini baked goods; this isn't a Vegas buffet. Pistachio was the big winner for ice cream, but green tea and taro were pretty good too. All in all, Hiroki is pretty satisfying for sushi and food on a budget.

Came here for dinner with the family after a recommendation from a local. The pricing was fair for the buffet and the drinks. The sushi selection we decent though not the best I have seen at buffet style places. The salmon was fresh and yummy, can not say the same for the tuna. The hibachi was very good and chef prepared it very well. The rest of the buffet was your average Asian buffet. Also the green tea ice cream was DELICIOUS! Overall this place is A-okay.

Let's get one thing out of the way here: it's a sushi buffet. If you're coming here expecting top of the line Japanese meals and are disappointed, don't be surprised. I was a little worried since there weren't many people in the restaurant, so I was a litlte worried the food wouldn't be that fresh. The sushi was constantly being prepared and put out, so you know it was at least only a half hour "old". There was also a range of salads, seafood, and other more "Chinese" foods on the buffet as well. I didn't get to try the dessert since I was full. I think that this place could have been a four star rating since there really wasn't anything bad about the food. The service wasn't really up to par. I think I was just expecting a bit more hustle during a lunch buffet. It took too long for them to clear our plates, they were slow with refills, and we asked for the check before we wanted to leave, but it took them a while to bring it over, and then another fifteen or so before they even ran it. All the while, our server was running around the restaurant. It wasn't busy, so it's a little inexcusable. Usually I'm not in a rush so things like this don't bother me, but when it's midweek and I have to get back to work, I really want it quick. Luckily my boss didn't complain about my lunch going an hour longer than it should have. Oops.

Not really sure why everyone says the food is good it's very nasty there was bones in my potstickers and the bottom of them were completely burnt. All the food seemed very poorly cooked

Great Chinese buffet, great flavorful selection. Japanese sushi is fresh, not a large selection but for the price I'm not complaining. I have not tried the grill but will do someday.

This place is awesome! Me and my buddy Joe have been there 3 times. I was hesitant to go the first time because it looked too pricey, way too busy, etc etc,. I was wrong on all accounts- so glad we gave it a shot. As busy as it looks on the outside (trust me) - Even at the lunch rush, u can get a table no problem. I always insist on paying, so the bill for 2 runs about 25 bucks, on par for a PBG restraunt, and well worth it for all the variety and quality. As far as raw seafood and bubbleguts - the cool thing is that soo many people flow thru this place, the sushi gets eaten/replenished so fast that it never has a chance to sit for long periods and spoil. And speaking of sushi, the variety is incredible. Biggest selection Ive ever seen at a buffet; I usually grab a plate and grab 2 of every variety, when i hit the table I have a full blown, mountain of wonderful. We are cable guys so we try to stick with sushi because its "less heavy", but it never fails, after 3 loaded plates of sushit, eggrolls, some fried rice.. oh and ice cream... we stumble outta there absolutley, positivly STUFFED; Have yet to try the Hibachi Teriyaki Chicken, but Im craving sushi and Chinese buffet food like a bandit after writing this review. We are definitly hittin this joint Wednsday!! Waiters.. u dont really need em, except for the drink refills and they are quick to do it.

I love Japanese Buffets. It's scary what I would be willing to do for All-You-Can Eat Sushi. After coming here a few times, this Japanese Buffet instantly catapults to the top of my list. Here's why: 1) The hibachi chef gives VERY generous portions. Ordering from the hibachi at these types of restaurants is always interesting. You usually have very unenthused servers who can't wait to get rid of you. My girlfriend and I both actually like ordering from the hibachi here, and you receive enough food for an entire meal. 2) The food is actually a bit spicy. Perhaps you've heard of me.. I am King of Palm Beach Indian Buffets. I've had a steady diet of spicy foods for years now, and so I can appreciate when other types of restaurants aren't blandsville. I'm not saying your mouth will melt, but you can expect to see a few peppery dishes here.

i should have turned around when i heard miley cyrus' wrecking ball when i walked in reading the reviews prior to going left me expecting top notch sushi - the sushi was ok, nothing special - some was good but most was eh the buffet - most of the food was good but just a little limited my .02, if you want to have a sushi meal dont come here, but if you want a decent buffet meal come here as the price makes it a solid place but do not expect grade A sushi

My 90 year old Japanese Grandma LOVES coming here. Its already her favorite restaurant. She's always taking her friends here. I have never had a problem with the service and the times I have been, its been fairly busy.

Buffet for lunch, all you care to eat $11.95. Buffets generally are never great and I usually avoid them. My son who is visiting loves this place though as he said there is lots of healthy stuff and price is right. Well I tried a lot of stuff and there are some terrific choices especially in salads and soups (Miso and Hot & Sour both OK), good, tasty and fresh seaweed salad (2 varieties). Several Chinese dishes such as stir fried chicken with vegetables was very good, fresh vegetables and properly prepared pieces of chicken breast typical of any good Chinese restaurant. Dumplings however were mediocre and potstickers were not remarkable. Sushi section offered numerous cut-up rolls of many types, but mostly made with fake crab, shrimp, salmon but all looked good, I'm not a nori fan regardless and looked for nigiri and sashimi with no real choices but tuna sashimi salad was good. I am sure it is not feasible to offer expensive choices of sashimi or nigiri at this reasonably priced buffet, though the sashimi salad had Maguro (Blue-fin Tuna) and was OK at best. The only nigiri sushi choice today was "white tuna" but also properly labeled "Escolar" was particularly tasty. I have never ordered this particular "mackerel" variety as it is banned in Japan and some other countries because it is known to cause digestive ills when eaten to access. I tried one piece and it was actually very tasty, I had to try a couple more and probably will again in the future; but I don't mind taking risks in food but I recommend before trying Escolar or "white tuna", to know the risks of possible gastro-intestinal distress. Totally discounting the sushi section, the hibachi grill, Chinese choices, salads, soups were all good and well worth the price. This restaurant is very clean and has a very pleasant inviting appeal and I'm sure I'll be back.

Good Japanese buffet with Sushi. They had a decent selection of fish and all seemed fresh when I went. I have been for lunch and dinner. Chinese food was ok and the hibachi wasnt anything special but they did give good serving sizes.

This is definitely one of the better more consistent sushi buffet with a large sushi selection and a good selection of hot food and a nice hibachi grill. Most sushi buffet around the area tend to stuff their sushi with rice, but this place is less so. Good atmosphere with nice indoor decoration and super clean!

Real Japanese, good quality fish, and professional service plus good prices in an upscale area. However, they don't get the eel sauce right and the portions are rather small. Korean food might be worth a try.

Sushi on a buffet is generally a bad idea but this was worse than normal. Very dry. All hot food was bland. Hot And sour soup was neither hot nor sour. Service was fine but there was not one redeeming item of food to be found.
